Then give tai chi classes may be the answer you are looking for. Master Li Wong teaches tai chi in the Bayside Suburbs of Melbourne. This includes Brighton at the Firbank Grammar School indoor basketball Court every Thursday at 7.15pm. Firbank Grammar School is conveniently located at 16 Middle Crescent, Brighton. Entry is through gate 10 to get to Firbank Grammar School’s indoor basketball court. There is lots of parking available along with easy access via public transport.
Classes run throughout the year. This means you can join any time. There is no need to wait weeks or even months until a new term starts.
The cost is only $20 per tai chi class. Even better, you can join in with other tai chi classes held during the week at NO additional cost. This includes tai chi classes held in Kew, Bayswater and Caulfield. It is also includes Saturday afternoon tai classes held at 2.30pm at Alexandra Gardens at 70 Cotham Road in Kew (next to the Kew Library).

After the First Form of tai chi is completed, students work in different groups according to their level. Many forms of tai chi are taught by Master Li Wong. As a result, you can learn what you are interested in. This includes weapons like the fan and sword forms.

This is because Master Wong was born into a family who have been involved in teaching tai chi for multiple generations. He is also a qualified Traditional Chinese Medical Practitioner. At a very young age Master Li Wong started training with one of the most famous Wu Tang Tai Chi Masters, Mr Fu Zhen Song. After Master Fu passed away Master Li Wong continued to train under Master Fu’s son, Fu Wing Fai, and his foremost disciple, Wung Hung. At this time master Wong also trained at the Quang-Chou Wu-Shu Academy in China.
After arriving in Melbourne over 30 years ago, he began teaching tai chi classes all over Melbourne – including Brighton. He has lots of loyal students who have been with him for many years learning the different forms of tai chi.
Master Li Wong considers it a privilege to continue the family tradition by teaching tai chi. He has a special passion for introducing new students to the many benefits of tai chi and how this gentle form of exercise can bring back balance to life.
